Bulk Sending Emails

The Bulk Send feature allows you to quickly communicate with large groups of customers, whether you're sending reminders, announcing schedule changes, or coordinating route updates. You can send messages directly from the Calendar or from a filtered Customer List.

Option 1: Send from the Calendar (Routes or Full Day)

Send it to the whole route

Send it to the whole day

Use this option when you want to contact customers tied to a specific route or to everyone scheduled that day.

How to Send

  1. Navigate to Calendar

  2. Select either:

    • A specific route, or

    • An entire day

  3. Use the available option to Send Email or Text

  4. Compose your message

  5. Send

Common Use Cases

  • Appointment reminders

  • Route delays or timing updates

  • Rescheduling a route

  • Weather or service-related notifications

Option 2: Send from Customer List (Advanced Search)

Use this option when you want to target a custom group of customers based on filters.

How to Send

  1. Go to Customers → Advanced Search

  2. Apply filters to define your audience (e.g., service type, location, status)

  3. Generate your list of customers

  4. Click Action → Send Email

  5. Compose and send your message

When to Use Each Method

  • Calendar (Route/Day):
Best for operational messaging tied to schedules and technician routes

  • Advanced Search (Customer List):
Best for targeted outreach, campaigns, or segmented communication

Best Practices

  • Be Clear and Concise
Especially for reschedules, include what changed and what customers should expect

  • Segment When Possible
Use filters to ensure messages are relevant to the recipients

  • Double-Check Recipients
Always confirm you're sending to the correct group before hitting send

  • Use Text for Urgent Updates
SMS is more effective for time-sensitive notifications like same-day changes. The same functionality exists for SMS as for email.

Bulk messaging ensures you can keep customers informed at scale, without sacrificing speed or accuracy.
