Written by Lance Wight

The Bulk Modify Contract Pricing feature allows you to efficiently apply price increases across multiple contracts at once, saving time and ensuring consistency across your customer base.

How to Access the Feature

  1. Navigate to either:

    • Customers → Contract Search, or

    • Routing → Route List

  2. Build your list of contracts:

    • Apply filters as needed

    • Select the contracts you want to update

    • Click “Show on List”

  3. Once your results are displayed:

    • Click the Action button in the top-right corner

    • Select “Bulk Modify Contract Pricing”

Available Pricing Adjustments

From the modal, choose how you want to adjust pricing:

  • Increase Recurring Pricing by a %
Applies a percentage-based increase to the current contract price.

  • Increase Recurring Pricing by a $ Amount
Adds a fixed dollar amount to the current contract price.

  • Set New Recurring Pricing
Overrides the current price with a new flat amount.

Important Notes & Limitations

  • Contract Type Restrictions
Price increases can only be applied to:

    • Per-Service contracts

    • Monthly Billing contracts

  • Invoice Impact Rules

    • Only invoices where the pre-tax amount due matches the current contract price will be updated

    • Existing invoices with different amounts will not be modified

    • No other line items will be affected

  • Per-Service Contracts

    • Only job invoices are impacted by price changes

Reviewing Your Changes

After saving your updates:

  1. Go to Reports → Price Increase Report

  2. This report provides full visibility into the changes, including:

    • Affected customers and contracts

    • Original price

    • Adjustment type used

    • New price

    • Price difference per contract

    • Average price change across all contracts

    • Total revenue impact across all contracts

Best Practices

  • Run a filtered search first to ensure you’re targeting the correct contracts

  • Start with a smaller batch if you’re testing a new pricing strategy

  • Always review the Price Increase Report to validate results and quantify impact

This workflow is designed to give you precise control over pricing updates while minimizing unintended changes to existing invoices.
